Error: E-Stop

Someone has either activated the remote kill switch (which requires a reset operation) or they have pushed the bright red emergency stop button that is mounted on the vehicle's switch box on Mission Control.

What is this?

The autonomy system includes several Emergency Stop (E-STOP) mechanisms to immediately override all autonomy operations and stop the equipment. A red emergency stop button is mounted on the switch box to allow operators to quickly stop autonomous activity. Additionally, a handheld kill switch is provided with all autonomy systems for operators to ensure safety remotely, without a mobile device.

Why am I seeing this?

Someone has either activated the remote kill switch (which requires a reset operation) or they have pushed the bright red emergency stop button that is mounted on the vehicle's switch box on Mission Control. If you are not in possession of the handheld kill switch, then contact others who might have it and determine the reason that it was activated.

How to proceed

Always physically inspect the vehicle and the area around it before resetting an emergency stop. If an emergency stop was triggered via a button on the vehicle, physically reset the emergency stop button. If an emergency stop was triggered within Mission Control, reset the emergency stop under the basic tab of the vehicle.
