Equipment Capabilities

Choose the right equipment capabilities before entering measurements so vMC can show the correct setup requirements.

Some equipment measurement fields, and specific features, only appear when specific capabilities are enabled. When setting up a vehicle or implement, review the Capabilities tab in vMC and enable any capabilities that apply to the equipment.

Important: Capabilities should be enabled before measurements are entered. If a capability is enabled after measurements have already been completed, additional measurement fields may appear and need to be completed before the equipment setup is finished.

 

Implement capabilities

Folding Implement

Use this capability when the implement has wings, tines, or other symmetrical sections that can fold.

When this capability is enabled, the system can use the folded implement measurements when the implement reports that it is folded. This helps the tractor navigate through narrower areas when the implement is folded.

This capability adds the following measurements:

  • Folded implement width
  • Folded implement height
folded_width_center

 

Center Trailing Section

Use this capability when the implement has a center section that trails behind the tractor and the implement shape is more accurate than one large rectangle.

This helps the system better understand the actual implement footprint for field boundary and obstacle detection checks.

This capability adds the following measurements:

  • Center trailing section width
  • Center trailing section length

 

Vehicle capabilities

Front 3-Point Hitch

This capability is intended for specific vehicle setups and is not available for general use. Please contact Sabanto Support before using this capability.

When enabled, it exposes front 3-point hitch raise and lower controls and adds the required front hitch connection measurement.

This capability adds the following measurement:

  • Front axle to front 3-point hitch connection point

Front PTO

This capability is intended for specific vehicle setups that require special wiring or harness configuration. Please contact Sabanto Support before using this capability.

When enabled, vMC can show a front PTO control button for engaging or disengaging the front PTO.
