Kubota M5 ROPS - Brake Actuator Installation

This article shows how to install a Service Brake Actuator on a Kubota M5 ROPS Tractor

Step 1

Remove the seat bolts and lift the seat. Then bolt on the actuator mount bracket between the seat and the tractor.

Step 2

Mount the Ewellix Actuator. Place the weatherstripping around the surface where the actuator will be clamped. Failure to place weather stripping may cause damage to actuator.

Step 3

Clamp Brake Pedal with pedal bracket and M6 x 35mm bolts

Step 4

Pin linkage to pedal and actuator.

Step 5

Calibrate the Brake Actuator and Verify proper function. The rod end on actuator can be adjusted for fine tuning the gap between the linkages.
