What is this?
The autonomy system includes obstacle detection using a pair of 3D infrared sensors mounted on the front of the vehicle. These sensors are configured to detect obstacles in three separate zones that range in distance from very close (Zone 1) to further away (Zone 3).
Why am I seeing this?
The autonomy system has detected an object in Zone 3 and may soon cause the vehicle to pause.
How to proceed
If the object that has triggered this warning continues to get closer to the vehicle and is detected in either Zone 2 or Zone 1, you will need to intercede to continue running autonomously. If possible, remove the obstacle from the path of your equipment during this and future passes. To prevent future issues, alter the coverage plan of your autonomous mission to avoid the area of the object by creating a non-traversable hole around it. Create a new coverage plan before running any new missions.
