      vOS 1.14.7 - July 8th, 2024

      Enhanced 5100M & 5100E Platforms: Smarter Starts, Sharper Obstacle Detection, and Reduced CPU Usage.

      Reduced chance of engine kills during vPFM startup process

      The 5100M and 5100E platforms are now less likely to have the engine killed while the system is in manual mode and the vPFM is still turning on. As part of this improvement, we also reduced the overall cpu usage on those platforms during all operations. 

      Obstacle detection improvements

      After our initial effort in vOS 1.14.3, we discovered further improvements for the obstacle detection system which improves obstacle detection during the mission.

       

      Pauses outside of the geofence are still possible but less likely. We are actively working to further improve obstacle detection in upcoming releases.
