Understanding and Resolving High CPU Usage Pauses
This pause reason indicates that the tractor's central processing unit (CPU) is experiencing unusually high utilization, exceeding a safe operating threshold. High CPU usage can lead to delays in processing critical information and potentially impact the reliability of autonomous operations, hence the system pauses as a precaution.

Troubleshooting
- Enable Auto-resume: Under the advanced controls of the vehicle in vMC, you can enable Auto-resume which will wait a few moments to see if the CPU usage returns to normal and allow the system to resume operation automatically.
- Increase CPU usage and timing thresholds: Under the advanced controls of the vehicle in vMC, you can increase the High CPU Time Threshold to 60 seconds and the High CPU Usage Percentage Threshold to 90%.
- Restart the device: A device restart can often resolve temporary software glitches.
- Check for software updates: Ensure that the vOS software is up to date. Software updates often include performance improvements and bug fixes that can reduce CPU load.
- Contact support: If high CPU usage pauses persist after a restart or if they occur frequently, contact our support team for assistance.
