Understand how the switch box toggles change the autonomy mode (ON, Partial and OFF) for the vPFM.
One of the key features of the vPFM is its ability to function in different autonomy modes, allowing users to customize their Sabanto Steward™ experience according to their preferences and needs. These autonomy modes are ON, Partial, and OFF, and they can be easily controlled through the use of switch box toggles.
Understanding Autonomy Modes
Before delving into each combination of switch box toggles, let's understand the three autonomy modes of the vPFM:
-
ON: In this mode, the vPFM operates with full autonomy. It actively manages the implement, steering and throttle. Operators who prefer a hands-off approach to their field operations often opt for this mode, trusting the vPFM to make the best choices on their behalf.
-
Partial: When using Partial autonomy, operators can allow the vPFM to control the throttle while the operator controls the implement and/or steering.
-
OFF: For operators who want to control their vehicle and implement manually, the OFF mode disables the vPFM's autonomy control.
