OAK Camera Adhesive Application
Procedure to follow for OAK Cameras out in the field to prevent water ingress
Why / When This Is Needed
Water ingress has been identified as a potential failure mode on currently deployed cameras, particularly around the rear enclosure screw holes and USB connector. This procedure should be performed on cameras to improve their resistance to water ingress by applying silicone sealant to these potential entry points. All newly shipped cameras from Sabanto will have this procedure already completed.
