Unable to issue commands in Mission Control

In order to issue commands to Mission Control, the system time of your laptop/phone must match Steward.

Steward™ relies on all connected devices running Mission Control having the same exact timestamp as the vehicle. If this is not the case, you will need to synchronize your device time with the Coordinated Universal Time or UTC, which is the primary time standard by which the world regulates clocks and time.

Windows users

  1. Right-click on the clock at the bottom of your screen and chose Adjust date and time.
  2. Choose the Time & language menu option
  3. Press the Sync now button in the Additional settings section

If the Sync Now button is grayed out, this indicates that your IT department has probably restricted your ability to run this operation. Contact them to assist with syncing time on your device.

Mobile phone users

Time and date are continuously updated on mobile phones while connected to a cellular network and thus shouldn't require to be resynchronized.
