vOS 1.20.0 - April 8th, 2026
Enhanced autonomy with safe resume for OD coming soon, sharper navigation, more reliable live video, and dealer-access live diagnostics.
Quick search
After installing this update, you are required to click the "Save" button on the tractor's settings page in vMC. Failure to do so will result in: The GPS light and Cell light on the switch box not turning on, The vehicle never coming online in vMC, The device in vMC only shows as "Online" and never transitions to "Idle".

Audio, Visual & Lighting (AVL) Package
The new Audio, Visual & Lighting (AVL) package adds clear audible alarms, flashing visual indicators, and automatic field lighting to Sabanto autonomous tractors. AVL ensures that anyone near the vehicle can immediately recognize when the machine is preparing to move, improving safety and visibility during autonomous operations. With AVL installed, operators also gain access to expanded capabilities such as fully enabled Auto-Resume behavior and future features like Auto-Play and extended auto-resume timing, making autonomy both safer and more productive.

Resuming Navigation Safely after Detecting an Obstacle
We’ve been focused on giving operators the ability to safely resume the vehicle after a pause triggered by the infrared, radar, or CV system. This capability is coming to our website in the future, and this release is required in order for systems to use the new ability to resume safely after detecting obstacles once it becomes generally available.
Live Diagnostics Portal for Dealers
We've added the ability to use the tool "Foxglove" to diagnose and trouble-shoot Sabanto autonomy systems. This diagnostics tool provides read-only access to all relevant sensors, devices, and other Sabanto Autonomy System data in real time, the same data that Sabanto Support has access to all at the click of a button.

Note: This feature is restricted to use only by authorized Sabanto dealers. Please contact support if you are a Sabanto dealer who cannot access this feature.
Autonomous Navigation Improvements
Building on the enhancements introduced in the vOS 1.19 update series, this release further refines vehicle navigation. These updates improve the vehicle’s ability to stay on the intended path in areas with multiple intersecting paths of travel.
Live Video Stability Upgrades
We’ve made several refinements to how live video operates, improving overall stream reliability. These changes help ensure that when you request live video, it opens and runs more consistently.
Resolved Issues
-
Path error between queued missions: Previously, some systems reported a path error when transitioning between missions in a queue. This has been resolved so vehicles can move into the next mission without interruption.
-
NOTE: If the start location of mission 2 does not match the endpoint of mission 1, similar issues may still appear. Mission queuing requires aligned start and end points. Please regenerate your missions if these points are not aligned.
-
-
The Sabanto Autonomy System needs to reconfigure the infrared obstacle detection system: We reduced the chance of a condition after startup where the infrared obstacle detection system would pause due to a need to reconfigure when attempting to resume navigation.
-
PTO fails to engage: We resolved this issue without the need to push a vOS update. Including in this release notes for clarity. After saving any changes to the implement on the implement page of vMC, the vehicle should allow the PTO to engage if the implement is in a safe location.
-
Brake calibration values updating: We resolved an issue where the brake calibration values would be updated, even if the calibration was canceled.
-
Throttle in manual pause notifications: Fixed an issue where operators were not notified when navigation paused due to throttle being set to manual without an operator present. The system now properly alerts the operator in this condition.
Known Issues
Discovered in prior releases:
-
Lookahead dot visual discrepancy: When the mission is completed, the dot may visually jump behind the vehicle. This does not affect performance when running a new mission, or running the next mission in the queue.
-
CV False Positives: We have observed a few scenarios where the CV system may claim an obstacle is present, when it is not. - Please contact Sabanto support if you encounter issues.
-
CV Pauses for Obstacles too far away: We have observed pauses from the CV system when an obstacle is actually present, but is across the field due to improperly calibrated CV cameras. - Please contact Sabanto support if you encounter issues.
