vOS 1.23.0 - June 6th, 2026

More Control. More Capability. More Confidence.

Quick search

Command a vPFM to Enter Sleep Mode

Operators can now command a vPFM to enter sleep mode (hibernation) by navigating to the Devices page in vMC. This helps reduce battery consumption when you are done working for the day.

Warning: Do not force a vPFM to sleep during a vOS update, as data may become corrupted.

Tip: Certain vPFMs can be awakened from sleep mode remotely. Click here to learn more.

Australian Kubota M5 Platform Support

The Sabanto Autonomy System is now compatible with Kubota M5 platforms without a DEF tank in the Australian market.

Note: New hardware is required for Australian Kubota installations. Please contact Sabanto Sales at sales@sabantoag.com.

New AVL Functionality and Error Message Improvements

Audio/visual warnings for more scenarios: The AVL system will now trigger the alarm and the flashing lights when:

  • The hitch is commanded to raise or lower remotely from vMC.
  • The engine is requested to start.

New error detection: The AVL system can now display errors with the AVL controller such as:

Error message Reason you see this
Marlin 4IO Health Module not responding on CAN bus
Marlin 4IO Temperature Temperature out of range
Marlin 4IO Supply Voltage Supply voltage too low
Marlin 4IO Hardware Digital input or output issues

Previously, these errors appeared as "Error detected with the hazards component of the AV&L kit," which was incorrect.

John Deere Transmission Operating Gear

John Deere vehicles equipped with a PowerQuad transmission can now shift between vehicle gears (1–4 or 1–8). Users can define which gear to use by navigating to Advanced Controls in vMC.

John Deere Transmission Operating Mode

John Deere vehicles equipped with a PowrReverser transmission can now shift the gear range between High and Low when the vehicle's shuttle is in Forward. Users can define whether to use High or Low range by navigating to Advanced Controls in vMC.

Infrared Sensor Calibration - Restore Defaults

Operators can now restore calibration values to their default settings if they believe incorrect calibration values were previously saved.

Live Video Restart Button

Operators can now restart the live video system without performing a device restart.

Obstacle Detection Safety

To improve operational safety, Sabanto Autonomy Systems now require at least one perception component to be added in vMC. Ensure either the "Radar" or "Infrared" component is present on the tractor's Settings page.

Coolant Temperature Notification Update

Users will now be notified about coolant temperature warnings once per mission instead of every 15 minutes. Coolant warnings that cause the ignition to turn off or navigation to pause will still always be issued.

Resolved Issues

  • Red radar badge:  We discovered a scenario where the radar device could stop functioning and display a red radar badge in vMC. When this occurs, the system will now attempt to automatically recover the device.

  • Live video feed fix: Addressed an issue where the live video feed could become interrupted and could not be closed after streaming.

  • Dynamic speed is not used for EORT or Headland turns: Resolved an issue where the dynamic speed feature in vMC would not apply the configured dynamic turn speed to headland or end-of-row turns.

  • Particulate matter is constantly reported as 0%: Resolved an issue where the vehicle's particulate matter value was reported as 0% when the vehicle did not provide the data. When the data is unavailable, particulate matter will now be displayed as "-" instead of "0%."

  • False "Vehicle at traffic-controlled checkpoint" pause: Resolved an issue where the system could send a traffic-controlled checkpoint pause message after a device restart.

  • Missions stuck in the assigned state: Resolved an issue where missions could become stuck in the assigned state.

  • Remote valve does not move to a neutral position when ignition turns off: Resolved an issue where a remote valve would not return to a neutral position if the engine stopped while the valve was being commanded to move. The implement will now stop moving when the engine stops or a device restart is performed.

  • GPS & Cell lights remain on during a device restart: Resolved an issue where the GPS and Cellular lights on the switchbox would remain on during a device restart.

Known Issues

Discovered in prior releases:

  • Lookahead dot visual discrepancy: When the mission is completed, the dot may visually jump behind the vehicle. This does not affect performance when running a new mission, or running the next mission in the queue.
