October 2025: Product Updates
Learn about new features, improvements and resolved issues.
vOS (Vehicle Operating System)
- vOS 1.19.0 was publicly released on October 27th, 2025: Release notes →
-
- Infrared Sensor Calibration: Introduced a new calibration feature that automatically calculates the sensor's mounting angle based on target height for more accurate obstacle measurement.
- Safety Distance Enhancements: Increased the safety stopping distance for computer vision and radar detection to maintain a larger gap between the vehicle and detected obstacles.
- Vision Detection Advancements: Deployed an improved AI Computer Vision model that reduces false positives by over 60% while significantly increasing the detection of people and irrigation pivots.
vMC (Vehicle Mission Control)
- New Features & Improvements:
- Asynchronous Coverage Planner: Enabled asynchronous processing for coverage plans, significantly improving UI responsiveness during complex calculations.
- Enhanced Visibility: Introduced an "Adjacent Fields" layer on single job and vehicle pages.
- Pause Analysis: Added a "Pauses by Type" view on the Analysis page.
- Improved Diagnostic Controls: For systems without cellular enabled, the "Wake" button now only displays if a device has a SIM number; otherwise, it defaults to the "Enable Ignition" option.
- Resolved Issues:
- Mission Safety: Prevented device resets from being performed while a vehicle is actively navigating.
- Error Handling: Enhanced mission failure explanations in toast notifications and improved error handling for equipment validation failures.
- Mobile Optimization: Resolved a mobile scrolling issue specifically for tractor assignments.
- Navigation Stability: Fixed a refresh issue that caused users to be unexpectedly exited from the Mission Planner.
- Registration Flow: Resolved a bug where network calls would fail immediately following new user registration.
- Proximity Logic: Updated logic to ensure proximity zones do not stop processing if they spill into an adjacent field.
- Organization Management: Fixed a bug to allow users to delete their last self-owned organization while preventing auto-creation of organizations in specific flows.
Coverage Planner Algorithm
- Resolved Issues
-
- Headland Geometry: Fixed a "kink" issue where headlands would diverge out of the boundary when a Non-Traversable Hole (NTH) was located near the field edge.
Path Planner Algorithm
- Resolved Issues
- Final Headland Row Handling: Improved the planner to handle scenarios where the final headland row contains no coordinates, such as when a whole field is designated as a headland.
- Boundary Traversal: Fixed an issue where along-boundary traversal was impaired by hole-headlands.
- Safety Triggers: Resolved a bug in the transit planner where the geofence proximity trigger was calculated too small.
- Turn Radius Detection: Investigated and resolved issues where sharp angle turns between segments were failing to trigger turn radius violations, previously leading to geofence breaches.
