vOS 1.18.2 - July 25th, 2025
Polishing the vOS 1.18 Update Series and Addressing Issues
Quick search
Please visit the vOS 1.18.0 release notes for a list of the features added in this update series.
Resolved Issues
- Lookahead dot updates: Fixed an issue where the lookahead dot would incorrectly appear behind the vehicle following a device restart. Previously, resuming operation did not reposition the dot in front of the vehicle as expected. With this update, the dot may still briefly appear behind the vehicle, but it now correctly jumps to the front once the resume button is pressed.
- CV false positives update: Improved the computer vision system to reduce the likelihood of false positive detections.
Known Issues
- Vehicle will not resume and red radar badge is present: In rare cases, units with radar installed may pause right away when requested to resume, and a red radar badge will be present on vMC.
Workarounds:
- Press "Device Restart" in vMC on the devices page for the affected unit.
- Ignition turns off in auto from PTO issue: In extremely rare cases, a unit may get a PTO error and the ignition will turn off. Following this, once the ignition is requested to turn on, it will fail to do so if the switches are in AUTO. We have tracked this issue and discovered it began occurring in vOS 1.17.4 and is not new to this release.
Workarounds:
- Press "Device Restart" in vMC on the devices page for the affected unit.
- CV camera calibration is automatically closing: Vehicles that did not have vOS 1.17.4 installed prior to updating to vOS 1.18.X and are not Kubota M5 ROPS/Cab or John Deere 5E models will be unable to calibrate the camera on vMC using the calibration script.

The PTO ‘Engage’ button for the Agrivator is active at the wrong times: When a "Device Reset" is performed with an Agrivator attached, or when the Agrivator is assigned to the vehicle while the 3-PT hitch is raised, the PTO "Engage" button becomes enabled. However, when the implement is lowered, the button becomes grayed out.
Workarounds:
- Assign the Sabanto autonomy system to an aeration mission and click ‘Begin navigation’. The system will then control the implement autonomously as needed.
- Lower the 3-PT hitch and perform a 'Device Reset'.
