Radar Obstacle Detection for Open Station Platforms (ROPS)
We are pleased to announce that all Sabanto autonomy systems are now compatible with the new radar sensor. With this release, open station (ROPS) systems gain the ability to use radar features during navigation.

Computer Vision Model Updates
Our latest Computer Vision (CV) model significantly improves detection accuracy for people, pivots, and other field objects soon to come in future releases. It more reliably distinguishes genuine targets from visually similar structures, resulting in cleaner detection output across 60,000+ test images. Combined with new augmentations for extreme lighting, weather variability, and motion blur, this release represents our highest-performing CV model to date.
To enable CV features on your autonomous vehicle and further enhance safety around your operation, please contact Sabanto Support.

JD 5M Electronic Hitch Enhancements
Improvements have been made to JD 5M electronic hitch calibration and behavior.
Previous issues that caused calibration failures or poor fidelity when controlling the hitch have been resolved, resulting in more reliable implement control. The calibration has also been automated reducing the operators need to click the same button many times over.
Improvements in Brake Diagnostics
We upgraded the way your system records brake information, giving Sabanto support and Dealers clearer details if your system ever has an issue that needs to be diagnosed. This makes problems easier to spot and helps keep your machine running smoothly season after season.
Resolved Issues
-
vPFM failing to wake remotely: We resolved one more failure scenario, our cellular modem was losing configuration settings which caused vPFMs to fail to wake up remotely.
Known Issues
-
Lookahead dot jump: This bug has been observed in extremely rare cases. When the dot jumps from one pass to another, the vehicle will typically pause from a path error unless it is able to navigate to the other pass. This issue happens most commonly when a mission is generated with multiple overlapping turns in the headland.
Workarounds:
-
Generate a new coverage plan and mission with more headlands than the last mission to prevent mission plans from generating with double circle turns on end of row turns.
